Real estate is one of the biggest financial decisions most people will ever make. I don't take that lightly.

I grew up in West Michigan. I know the difference between a Grand Haven channel property and a Hudsonville family move-up. I know which markets move fast and which ones reward patience. I know what it feels like to sit across from a client who is stressed, uncertain, and trusting me to get it right.

I closed four transactions from Hawaii earlier this year, including helping a new CEO who had just relocated to Muskegon to take over for a retiring friend navigate a probate hold that had everyone ready to walk away. Title companies wouldn't move until a 21-day notice period cleared, the deal was in the attorney's hands, and there was nothing I could technically do except stay at the table and make sure my client didn't feel like he was getting dragged through the mud. The deal closed. That's what I mean when I say this work is relational, not transactional.

I've helped an 82-year-old client get into her condo at Northshore Ridge in Muskegon and connected her with a trusted agent in Florida when she needed to sell her home there. I've worked with first-time buyers for months before the right home appeared. I've cut checks I shouldn't have had to cut to protect a client relationship, because one bad experience can undo what ten great ones build.

My focus is move-up sellers and intentional buyers across the West Michigan Lakeshore and Grand Rapids area — people who value discretion, strategy, and an agent who tells them the truth even when it's not what they want to hear. I'm not trying to do 50 transactions a year. I'm trying to do the right ones, done right.

When I'm not working, you'll find me surfing — most recently on the North Shore of Kauai, where the backdrop behind your surfboard is genuinely one of the most beautiful things on earth — playing beach volleyball in Grand Haven, mountain biking Merrell Trail in the Grand Rapids area, or somewhere on the water here in West Michigan.
